I always go to the verse and then to the one before and after it. Verse 10 says “the name of the Lord is a strong tower: The righteous runneth into it, and is safe’’ Just the name of the Lord is a shelter and a place of refuge. It is so from the worlds thought of wealth. Verse 11 says, “The rich mans wealth in his strong city, and as a high wall (of protection) in his own conceit.” Many of them are thinking that their possessions can provide protection for them. It is a wall of Idolatry; which will fail them every time.
